“HOUSEMASTER”
.SUCCESSFUL CONCLUDING PERFORMANCE. AN ENTHUSIASTIC AUDIENCE. At the second and concluding presentation of “Housemaster” by the Little Theatre Society, in the Opera House last, evening, there was an audience that was both large and appreciative. Every member of the numerous and talented company was in excellent form and full justice was done to the wit and humour of the comedy and to its occasional touches of pathos and sentiment. Throughout the evening there was a ripple of laughter from the audience and very often the laughter became loud and hearty. At the final curtain fall the company was given a rousing ovation and many bouquets and other gifts were presented. A warm tribute was paid to; the producer, Mrs. Peggy Mirams. In a brief speech, Mrs Mirams thanked the audience for turning out in such numbers and for giving the play an enthusiastic reception which had helped the company to give of its best.
