THE DRAINING BOARD

KEEP IT FROM ROTTING. A good idea to prevent your drain-ing-board from rotting through continual exposure to water is to make it waterproof, -and, this can be done in the following manner: Scrub the board well and allow to dry. Next rub it over with paraffin wax, forcing the wax into the wood by ironing the board with a warm iron. Repeat the waxing twice more on consecutive days and you will find that the board will then be completely waterproof and last for years.
