APPROVED BY AUSTRALIAN CABINET. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. CANBERRA. May 30. The Postmaster-General, Mr. Harrison, announced in the House of Representatives today that Cabinet had approved of the Australian Broadcasting Commission publishing a weekly radio journal, the announcement of which caused wide newspaper protests. Cabinet held that to interfere would savour of political dictation. Moreover, the commission had every right to publish a journal of a special broadcasting type, which right was not denied in any other part of the world, it was declared.
