FIRST FLIGHT TENTATIVELY FIXED FOR OCTOBER 1. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright MELBOURNE, May 30. The Director-General of Civil Aviation, Mr Corbett, announced -today that the tentative date fixed for the inauguration flight in the trans-Tas-man flying-boat service was October 1. He added that some points of the service agreement had not yet been brought to finality by the Federal Cabinet. The erection of a wireless plant at Lord Howe Island is proceeding.
