SALE AT DUNEDIN. KEEN COMPETITION. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN. May 30. A medium sized catalogue was submitted at the sheepskin sale held today to a full bench of buyers. Competition was keen and prices for sound pelted skins advanced from ,'d to Id a lb, and in some cases Id a lb. Dead and damaged lines were firm to jd a lb dearer. The official range of prices is:— Halfbred: Full wools, Sjd to 9',d a lb; three-quarter wools, BAd to 9d; half wools, 6 : ;d to 7Jd; quarter wools, 5.1 d to 6,'d. Fine crossbred: Full wools, BJd to 9’d; three-quarter wools, Bjd to 9d; half wools, 7‘,d to 8d; quarter wools, 5. to 5.-d. Crossbred: Full wools, 81d to 9d; three-quarter wools, BJd to 9d; half wools. 6jd to 7i,'d; quarter wools, s.}d to G.'d. Hoggets: Halfbred, 7:]d to 8.!d; fine crossbred, 7.1 d to 8d; crossbred, 7Jd to 7:Jd. Lambs: Halfbred, 7Ad to 8d; fine crossbreds, 7,’,d to 7:;d; crossbred, 7d to 71d. Dead: Halfbred, 61d to 7!}d; fine crossbred, 61d to 7d; crossbred, 6d to 6. Halfbred: Hoggets, 6jd to 7Ad; fine crossbred hoggets, 6kl to 7Jd. First pelts, 3jd to 4d; second pelts, 2jd to 3£d.
