It was through sheer determination that he displaced Wexford Bridge when the latter seemed to have the race won. Wexford Bridge will of course be well supported and the race may develop into a duel between these two. Corban fell in the Pareora Steeplechase after a "life” at the first hurdle. McHeath will be up with the leaders while the rest of the field might find the going' too tough. The best supported may be Gold Wren. Wexford Bridge. McHeath. BIRTHDAY HANDICAP.
