A PERSONAL MESSAGE TO }fASTERTON THEATREGOERS THROUGH the medium of this personal letter, I would like to introduce myself to the legion of patrons and friends of the State Theatre. I realise that the high esteem in which the Theatre is held is no mean achievement of my predecessors and I am hoping to please to the same extent. My airn will always be to maintain the high standard which the State has established as one of the Luxury Houses controlled by Amalgamated Theatres, Ltd., and it is my express intent to keep it in the vanguard. During this month many important films are listed for presentation through the State’s Show Window including “Gunga Din,” “Topper Takes a Trip” and “Mikado,” and I cannot overrate the pleasuregiving qualities of these special attractions to Be presented over our Wide Range Western Electric Sound System.
