GUARANTEED PRICE
POSITION OF FARMERS’ UNION. (By Telegraph-r-Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 29. Questioned today regarding meetings of the Sheepowners’ Federation and the Farmers’ Union to discuss the guaranteed price proposal, Mr. O'Shea, Dominion Secretary of the Farmers’ Union, said head office was taking no part in arranging meetings except that speakers were being arranged when it had been requested to do so. Meetings, he said, were being arranged by the provinces themselves. The guaranteed price would be discussed at the annual conference of the union.
