“WOULD LEAVE AJAX STANDING”
DEFAULTER DOING ROAD WORK
(By "CARBINE”)
"There is a horse in India better than Ajax and would leave him standing,” said Roy Higgins, former Sydney trainer who arrived in Melbourne recently. "He is Finalist and I consider him the best handicap horse in the world.” Mr Higgins headed the trainers’ list in India for the season.
