SAFE BLOWN OPEN
WAIPUKURAU BURGLARY. ABOUT £4O STOLEN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) HASTINGS. May 28. By blowing a safe in a grocery store in Waipukurau on Saturday night, thieves secured about £4O. Bags of flour and sugar were used to pack round the safe to deaden the noise. Entry was gained by cutting through a panel at the back of the store.
