CASES OF DIPHTHERIA

ONE FROM TOWN AND TWO FROM COUNiRY. FOUR CARRIERS RECEIVING TREATMENT. One positive case of diphtheria and four carriers were reported in Masterton borough last week, and are now patients in the Masterton Hospital. This is the first notification of this disease for some months as far as the borough is concerned. Two cases from country areas were also notified on Friday.
