WIDOW OF EXPLOSION VICTIM. (By Telegraph—Press Association./ WELLINGTON, This Day. in th" Supreme Court the Crown consented to a judgment for £1,750, vzith costs £5O, on a petition of right for £2,000 brought by the widow of Cornelius Harold Ward, the victim of a premature explosion in the Ngahauranga Gorge on September 19 last, during blasting operations. There are six children.
