CLAUDE DAMPIER
NOW APPEARING IN PICTURES. One of the most popular stage players of al time in Australia and New Zealand was Claude Dampier, who has now proved himself equally popular or. the screen. Claude made his name in variety in England, and then toured Australia and New Zealand. So successful was this tour that he formed his own company, and later made two tremendously successful films in the silent days. He moved on to South Africa, and was equally popular there. Returning to England, he started a screen career, and is starred currently in the radio revue, “Sing as You Swing.”
