MASTERTON STOCK SALE
PRICES GENERALLY REMAIN FIRM. An offering of 3000 sheep met with keen competition at today's Masterton Stock sale. Prices were on a par with ruling market rates, and bidding was exceptionally brisk. Some realisations were: —Fat ewes. 14s to 16s; fat b.f.’s to 16s; fat lambs, 18s to 21s; forward ewes to 9s 4d; w.w. to 17s Id.
