“GAY ROMANCE”

FIRST PRACTICE HELD LAST NIGHT. PRODUCTION BY MASTERTON AMATEURS. The first practice of “Gay Romance,” a musical comedy which is to be presented by the Masterton Amateur Theatrical Society, probably towards the end of September, was held last night. “Gay Romance” is quite modern —it was written in 1935 —and is said to be a particularly bright show. It is being produced by Mr T. J. KirkBurnnard, who achieved success with the Debutantes’ Revue last March. A number of new members attended last evening’s practice, which proved quite satisfactory. It is confidently anticipated that “Gay Romance will be a popular attraction with the public.
