When the international situation has been clarified, Australia and New Zealand may receive a visit from the King and *^ Ue Federal Ministers, expressing delight at the message cabled from Canada that their Majesties hoped soon to visit Australia and New Zealand, said today that, had the Z X tion been easier, a visit by the King and Queen would piobably have followed the Canadian tour. . Semi officially it is believed here that plans are being piepared for a tour of Australia and New Zealand as soon as it is practicable. The Prime Minister, Mr Menzies, has assured their Majesties of a marvellous reception in view of the great and growing appreciation of the way in which they have combined dignity, friendliness and enthusiasm in the pertoimance of their great duties. - t . As Duke and Duchess of York their Majesties officially opened the Federal Parliament Buildings at Canberra in 1927.
