SALJWARDS ACCOMMODATION FOR PIGS. “In the winter the pigs at Carterton are packed in like sardines in. a tin,’’ remarked Mr N. Peacock, when urging. at yesterday's meeting of the Wairarapa Provincial Executive of the Farmers' Union, that the Associated Auctioneers be asked to provide a shelter over the pig pens in Wairarapa saleyards. “Same of the buyers.” he added, “cannot get near the pens.” The motion was carried and committees were set up Io approach the Auctioneers' Association.
