DONOVAN DISQUALIFIED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 21. Jack Donovan made his first appearance in Auckland on Saturday night, when he wrestled Rollend Kirchmeyer and was disqualified in the seventh round for what the referee held to be a deliberate punch. ■ /, Kirchmeyer had previously obtained a submission fall in the third round with the application of a python clutch. Donovan evened the falls in the sixth round, when, after a succession of jolts, he picked up his opponent and twice slammed him to the mat before finishing with a body press.
