PALESTINE POLICY
CONDEMNED BY BRITISH LIBERALS. REPUDIATION OF WHITE PAPER. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, May 19. Sir Archibald Sinclair and Lord Meston, on behalf of the Liberal Party, have repudiated the Palestine White Paper as a further example of the Government’s characteristic vacillation, adding that it represents a surrender to violence, destroys one of the few constructive portions of the peace settlement and discredits the British name.
