CENTRAL SCHOOL

SUCCESSFUL DANCE

A RECORD ATTENDANCE. Once again the old time dance held under the control of the Central School Parents’ Association on Saturday night drew a record attendance of patrons. The assembly hall provided ample space for dancing and a happy spirit soon prevailed. Mr W. R. Nicol capably acted as M.C. Music was supplied by Messrs Barnes and Jackson, extras being played by Messrs Parsons, Hood and Coddington. The winners of the Monte Carlo were Mrs Smith and Mr Dixon. Supper was served by the ladies' committee and members of the association. The gathering terminated with the singing of ‘Auld Lang Syne" and “God Save the King." The next, of these popular dances will be held on June 3.
