ROAD CYCLING
WAIRARAPA CLUB. TWENTY MILE TIME TRIAL. WON BY COPP. The Wairarapa Amateur Cycling Club conducted a 20-mile time trial on Saturday, the course being from Dixon Street to the Royal Oak Hotel and return. A strong westerly wind hampered the riders, slowing the time considerably. The result was as follow: —R. Copp (time 55min lOsecs), 1; M. Graham, 2; A. Morris, 3. A sealed handicap was. also run in conjunction with the time trial, the result being as follow: —M. Graham, 1; R. Copp, 2; A. Morris, 3. A very successful dance was held by the club in the Masonic Hall on Saturday evening, when a most enjoyable time was spent, the music being supplied by tool’s Blue River Dance Band.
