TENNIS CLUB
RANGITUMAU DANCE. PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES. ("Times-Age” Special.’ The Rangitumau Tennis Club held an enjoyable dance last night in the Rangitumau Hall, when Mr Eric Wilton, president of the club, presented trophies won during the past season. The cup for the lady who played most ladder games was presented to Miss Freda Wrigley, and that for the lady who won most competition matches went to Miss O. McLachlan. The men’s cups, awarded on the same basis, were presented to Messrs Gordon and lan McLachlan. The hall was comfortably filled with happy dancers including both local residents and visitors from Masterton. The music was supplied by Jack Barnes’ Rhythm Boys, extras being supplied by Mrs D. Cullen of Wellington.
