Patrick Kelly was sentenced, to ten years’ imprisonment and John Foley to five years' imprisonment, at the Old Bailey for illegal possession of explosives. Shouting "up the Republic," Foley was carried to the cells by warders. Kelly tried to scramble over the dock. Both men refused to plead.
