ROAD CYCLING
WAIRARAPA CLUB. TIME TRIAL ON SATURDAY. The Wairarapa Amateur Cycling Club will conduct its weekly race on Saturday in the form of a time trial. The distance will be twenty miles over a course commencing from Fly and Young’s corner, Dixon Street, to the Royal Oak Hotel, Carterton, and return, finishing in Queen Street, opposite the Central School. The riders will be sent away at minute intervals, the race conditions being that each rider will ride the full distance without accepting pace from any other rider. If a rider overtakes another, he will be required to keep a distance of at least 15 yards between himself and the rider he has. overtaken. If he wishes to pass he must do so on the opposite side of the road. The following riders intend participating: —R. Copp. K. Woollett, J. Brader, G. Goodin, J. McAliece, M. Graham, L. Green, B. Dooling, C. Gourlay. E. Lefort, D. Mayes, A. Morris, K. Gilbert.. The race will start at 2.30 p.m. sharp.
