The Foreign Minister, Dr. Gafencu at the opening of the Economic Council of the Balkan Entente, expressed the hope that Bulgaria would join up. Her participation in the council, he said, would not prejudice Bulgarian prestige. He added that the Entente was not economically or politically opposed to anyone. The council approved of the principle of individual Entente members developing relations with European powers.
