TAKEN OVER BY NAZIS IN AUSTRIA. RENTS REDUCED BY HALF. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. VIENNA, May 17. The Nazi district leader. Herr Buerckel, has taken over the administration Of 9000 farms belonging to the Augustinian Monastery at Klosterneuberg, which lie within the precincts of « Vienna. Simultaneously he halved the tenants' rent. The monastery is permitted to retain the administration of those properties farmed by priests, but they have been taken out of the Church’s control till further notice.
