BAND INSTRUMENTS THROWN OVERBOARD. LINER PASSENGERS SUBSCRIBE FOR NEW SET. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright GIBRALTAR. May 17. A music-hating passenger aboard the liner Strathaird early this morning threw overboard all the instruments of the ship’s band. These were the property of the stewards, who played in the dining saloon nightly. The other passengers collected £BO for new instruments.
