The Wairarapa Rugby Union’s championship fixtures will be continued on Saturday next. At Masterton the RedStar and Old Boys seniors will meet in a senior game. As both teams have smart backs there should be some fast, open play witnessed. Last Saturday’s matches gave an indication that the Rugby standard is improving in the Wairarapa and the game next Saturday between Red Star and Old Boys should provide further evidence of this fact. The Masterton and Grey town will meet at Greytown, while Gladstone will play Carterton at Carterton. The curtain-raiser at Masterton will be provided by the Red Star and Car-, terton thirds.
