Euchre & Table Tennis.

There was a good attendance of both card and table tennis players at the fortnightly euchre and table tennis tournament held in St. Patrick’s Hall last night. The winners of the euchre prizes were: —Ladies: Mrs Toban; men. Mr J. Mcikle. The tabic tennis was won by Miss M. Greenleys and Mr P. Greenleys Junr.

The Railway Department announces the issue of specially reduced fares and special train arrangements for the race meeting at. Awapuni on May 20. At a special meeting of the Women's Branch of the Labour Party on Thursday. members will have an opportunity of hearing Mrs Thorn talk of some of her experiences abroad.
