ITALY & GERMANY
CEREMONIAL SIGNING OF PACT ATTACK ON PEACE BLOC POSSI BLE. WITHDRAWAL OF DIPLOMATS SUGGESTED. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright. (Received This Day, 11.20 a.m.) .LONDON, May 15. The Berlin correspondent of the British United Press says it is reliably stated that Count Ciano (Italian Foreign Minister) will arrive on May 21. He is expected to slay for several days, during which time the ceremonial signing of the German-Italian Military Agreement will take place. Herr Hitler is expected to make an important speech, stressing the combined military weight of Italy and Germany. Well-informed Nazi circles are of opinion that the Government is planning retaliation against the AngloTurkish Pact. They hint that it may withdraw its diplomats from Poland and Turkey, and even from Britain.
