PRICE OF EGGS

FALL IN WELLINGTON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. There has been a marked improvement in the supply of eggs in Wellington, and a further decrease in the retail price has taken place. The drop has been 2d a dozen in all grades. Special grade eggs, which were selling at 3s 8d a dozen two weeks ago, are now down to 3s 4d. A grade are selling at 3s 2d a dozen, and B grade at 2s lOd. It is expected that there will be a further improvement in the supply during the next week, and there wni probably be another fall in the retail price of 2d in all grades.
