Great Britain won the Davis Cup tie against New Zealand by three matches to two. New Zealand established a twq-one lead by winning the doubles on the second day, but lost both singles today. Great Britain will now meet the winners of the match between China and France at Wimbledon a fortnight hence. Results of today's play are: — R. A. Shaves (Great Britain) beat A D. Brown (New Zealand), 6-3, 6-4, 7-5. C. E. Hare (Great Britain) beat C. E. Malfroy (New Zealand), 7-5, 6-4, 6-4. HUNGARY v. YUGOSLAVIA. ABOTH DEFEATS PUNCEC. By Telegraph—Press Association -Copyright. In the doubles Puncec and Mitic (Yugoslavia) defeated Aboth and Gabory (Hungary) 6/1, 4/6. 6/2, 7/5.
