COSY THEATRE

“EXPOSED.” The current programme at the Cosy Theatre, headed by “Exposed” and “I Am The Law,” will be finally shown tonight. “REPORTED MISSING.” Another gripping story of the transcontinental airlines is Universal’s “Reported Missing,” which commences at the Cosy Theatre tomorrow. It is an air drama that races across the screen at a mile-a-minute speed and will keep patrons in suspense from start to finish. The leading roles are excellently played by William Gargan, Jean Rogers and Dick Purcell. The story deals with a dashing inventor and a daring air hostess who ride a death-destined plane to solve a sensational mystery. There is action, suspense, romance and adventure in the picture all of which goes to make grand entertainment. The top note in movie musicals is the new Universal screen offering, "Top of the Town,” which is the second attraction. The picture has seven song hits sung by such nationally known radio stars as Gertrude Niesen and Ella Logan, who is a smart comedian as well as a talented singer. Still more humour in “Top of the Town” is provided by ten other comedians. Those who support Doris Nolan and George Murphy in the leading roles, include Hugh Herbert, Gregory Ratoff, Henry Armetta, Mischa Auer, Ray Mayer, the Three Sailors, Jason, Robson and Blue. There is a new dancing discovery in the film, little twclve-year-old Peggy Ryan.
