TRUST POLL

EXTRAORDINARY VACANCY NOMINATIONS CLOSE AT NOON. THREE CANDIDATES STANDING. Nominations closed at noon today for the extraordinary vacancy on the Trust Lands Trust. No further nominations were received other than those already announced. There are three candidates for the one seat, the vacancy having been caused by the resignation of Mi - W. H. Jacks On. The candidates are Messrs Bert. Page, W. L. Butler and H. W. Dale. In addition to the extraordinary vacancy, three ordinary vacancies have to be filled. For these latter seats there are four nominations, the three retiring members, Messrs A. Owen Jones, E. G. Eton and C. E. Grey, all of whom are seeking re-election, being opposed by Mr J. T. Jameson. The poll will be taken on Thursday, May 25. .
