WEST SCHOOL

DEMOLITION OF BUILDING.

TENDERS BEING INVITED. The demolition of the Masterton West School is to be put in hand forthwith, in readiness for the erection of a new building to replace the structure damaged by earthquake . Tenders are invited by the Wellington Education Board, closing on Tuesday, May 23, for the purchase and removal of the schoool. So far no definite advice has been received regarding the erection of the new school but in view of the pending demolition of the old building some hopes are held of a fairly early start being made.
