POPPY SALES
RECORD FOR WAIRARAPA TOTAL OF £352. DETAILS OF DISTRICT RETURNS. The honorary secretary of the Wairarapa Returned Soldiers' Association (Mr A. E. Prentice) desires to acknowledge receipt of the following amounts contributed to the recent Poppy Day appeal:—
This sum represents'a record for the district and exceeds last, year’s sales by £22 19s Bd, the total for last year being £329 Is Id. The association desires to extend its thanks to all willing helpers who took part in the sales, and to the public for its liberal response.
