CHINESE REACH HEART OF CANTON JAPANESE GUARDS KILLED. LARGE SUM OF MONEY SEIZED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. HONG KONG, May 10. One hundred Chinese irregulars penetrated to the heart of Canton today, bayoneted three guards outside the Japanese-owned bank of Taiwan and forced the safe. They removed the equivalent of £26.000 in Chinese notes and silver. Men and women irregulars today also entered the Sunwui arid 200 Japanese. CHINESE DIVISIONS SAID TO BE SURROUNDED. JAPANESE ANNIHILATION PLANS. (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) TOKIO, May 10. The Japanese are reported to be preparing to annihilate four Chinese divisions, totalling 150,000 men, northwest of Hankow. The divisions are now subject to continual assaults from all sides.
