THE FAVOUR which Mother's Day, to be observed next Sunday, has found in the hearts of people, is already reflected in the displays being made in the shops of Masterton. Window and interior displays gaily feature suitable gifts for Mother. It is all a further reminder of the growing importance of Mother's Day as a day of national importance to New Zealand. But New Zealand'is not alone in preparing for its special celebration of next Sunday. Mother's Day services will then be held all over the world, and Mother's Day gifts will be bought all over the world this week. Every year the organisation and the sentiment of Mother's Day grows in world-wide importance.
