Mrs Thirtle, of Masterton, left this week on a visit to Auckland. Mrs R. O. Smith, Lansdowne, is staying at Paraparaumu Beach. Mrs Drummond, who has been staying at Paraparaumu. has returned to Greytown.

Mr and Mrs N. F. Blundell, who have been on a motoring holiday to Rotorua, have returned to Gladstone. Miss J. Johnston. Wellington, is the guest of Miss I. O. McKenzie, Renali Street, Masterton.

Miss Joan Kay, Wellington, is staying with Mrs W. H. Robieson, King Edward Street. Lansdowne. Miss Betty Coleman, of Masterton, is spending a holiday with Mrs L. H. Best, Shannon.

Mrs Kennedy, of Lyall Bay. is visiting her daughter Mrs J. Wells, Coradine Street, Masterton.

Mrs C. R. Mabson and family, of College Street, Masterton, are spending a holiday at Plimmerton. Mr and Mrs Douglas, of Te Awamutu, are at present staying with Mr and Mrs J. Y. Douglas, Pownall Street, Masterton.

Mrs E. M. Hodder and family, Second Street, Lansdowne, are spending the term holidays at Paraparaumu Beach.

Miss I. Tankersley, Johnstond Street, Mastertori, is spending a few days at Lower Hutt, before going .to Nelson for the term holidays.

Mr and Mrs A. A. McDonnell, of Masterton, who have been spending a holiday in Sydney, returned home by the Wanganella. Mr and Mrs A. E. Clemas, Cole Street, Masterton, who have been on a visit to Sydney, returned by the '•Wanganella” yesterday. Mr and Mrs Jackson, of Auckland, have been the guests of Mr and Mrs p. Taylor, Lansdowne. Mrs Jackson is councillor in New Zealand of the World Fellowship of Faith and Service and delivered a number of much appreciated addresses while here.
