MR S. M. BRUCE’S VISIT TO WASHINGTON. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. WASHINGTON, May 8. The Australian High Commissioner, Mr S. M. Bruce, has left for New York and sails from there op Wednesday for London. He said he was well pleased with his numerous general conversations here, including those, regarding trade agreements with the Department of State. Mr Bruce added that,- generally ,speaking,. he had found relation’s between Australia and the United States to be “admirable.”
