GOLD MINING RETURNS. Mossy Creek reports a return of 350 z 2dwt for 126 hours from 7695 yards. The New River dredge returned 53 ounces for 141 hours from 11.000 yds. The White’s Electric return totalled 28 ounces for 110 hours from 6600 yds. The Mataki Junction dredging return for the week ended May 14 is: 36 ounces smelted gold for 94 hours’ work and 15,000 yards dredged. Two days were lost owing to the low level of the river. The Argo dredge return was 370 z for 131 hours’ work from 14,000 yards excavated.
