MASTERTON CLUB.

RINKS COMPETITION.

The Masterton Indoor Bowling Club continued the rinks section of its competitions last week and many close finishes resulted. The following are the results of last week’s games (skips names only):—Joyce 23 beat Dixon 12, Hendry 25 beat Fenton 17, Edwards 19 beat Davies 12, Nuttall 21 beat Pickering 20. Nuttall 24 beat Davies 13. Hendry 17 beat Joyce 14, Dixon 23 beat Leigh 17. The fixtures for this week are as follows (skips only):—Wednesday, 7 p.m.: No 1, Leigh v Fenton; No 2, Dixon v Finlayson; 8.30 p.m.: No 1, Nuttall v Edwards: No 2, Hendry v Pickering. Thursday, 7 p.m.: No 1, Joyce v Finlayson; No 2, Leigh v Edwards; 8.30 p.m.: No 1, Dixon v Davies; No 2, Fenton v Pickering. The committee request that all players note particularly the evening and times of commencing their games.
