' (By Telegraph—Press Association.) ’ NEW PLYMOUTH, May 7. There was again ver}' keen racing in all events on the concluding day of the Egmont meeting on Saturday. H. J. Callahan, rider of Tosh in the Hawera Handicap, was charged under rule 289 with causing interference to Race Call. The committee, after hearing the evidence of Callahan and W. Jenkins, rider of Race Call, were satisfied that Tosh did interfere with Race Call, but they considered the occurrence took place through Tosh, under pressure, going across on the fence. They found the happening accidental and decided to take no further action. The committee considered the evidence given by Jenkins unsatisfactory and fined him £5 under rule 214, part 2. Mr W. Porter, owner of Gitana Lass, and Mr J. A. McKenna, owner of Pretty Lass, were each fined £5 under rule 242 for not notifying the club of a re-
