EGGS IN PLENTY

THROWN AT POST OFFICE CLOCK. SEQUEL IN MAGISTRATE’S - COURT. Although eggs are at a mium in Masterton, three young men, N. A. Carswell, C. Udy and G. Carruthers, apparently had plenty to spare on a recent night when they threw them heedlessly about the street and also had a “sitting shot” at the Post Office clock. The three men were charged in the Masterton Magistrate’s Court this morning before Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M., with behaving in a disorderly manner. Fines of £2 and 12s costs were imposed in each case.
