ADDINGTON [VALUES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 3. The sale of fat sheep at the stock sale held in Addington today, was the best for some weeks. The store sheep sale Was considerably brisker, though prices improved only slightly. A truck lot of fairly good two-tooths sold at 15s 2d. Most sales of medium to sound and failing-mouth ranged from 6s to The entry of about 1100 fat lambs met an active sale with competition from export buyers raising the price of butchers’ lambs by about Is a head. The lighter class showed little change oh the values of a week ago. Fat ewe prices were better than those of last week by Is to Is 6d a head, and better Class Wethers by about Is. Competition for freezing ewes also was a little brisker. Better cattle sold freely, but because butchers have been oversupplied in the last few weeks there was a depressing effect on competition. Heifers and cows showed a slight improvement. The entry of porkers was one of the largest of the season. Prices eased, and for small porkers and unfinished sorts it was impossible to make satisfactory sales. Choppers were in fairly hetiVy supply, but values were unchanged. Baconers came forward ih medium numbers, but there was very little change in values except for the heavier classes, which were a shade better. MASTERTON SALE, FAT EWES ADVANCE IN PRICE.
