THE 2-3-2 SCRUM. UNIVERSAL ADOPTION URGED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Delegates to the annual meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union last night approved of a remit to be forwarded to the international conference in London this year favouring the universal adoption of the 2-3-2 scrum formation. NORTH AND SOUTH SELECTORS. WELLINGTON, This Day! At a meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Council last night in Wellington, the following selectors were appointed:— North Island: Messrs F. Lucas, N. McKenzie and T. French. South Island: Messrs A. Geddes, R. Masters and A, A. Adams. Mr J. Prendeville was appointed the representative o fthe New Zealand Union on the Maori Advisory Board. Mr Kingi Tahiwi was appointed secretary of the board and its representative on the New Zealand Rugby Union. REPRESENTATIVE MATCHES. WAIRARAPA AND BUSH FIXTURES. WELLINGTON, This Day. Wairarapa. July 18: Poverty Bay v Bush, Pahiatua. July 22: Poverty Bay v Wairarapa, Wairarapa. August 5: Wairarapa v Nelson, Wairarapa. August 7; Canterbury v Bush, Christchurch. August 9: Bush v South Canterbury, Timaru. August 12: Otago v Bush, Dunedin. August 16: Bush v Southland, Invercargill. August 19: North Otago v Bush, Oamaru. September 16: Wellington v Wairarapa, Wellington. September 20: Fiji v Wairarapa. September 23: North Island v South Island, Wellington.
