KIWI HOCKEY CLUB

ENJOYABLE DANCE. IN MASONIC HALL LAST NIGHT. The Kiwi Hockey'Club dance held in the Masonic Hall last evening proved to be a very enjoyable and successful affair. It was the first dance to be held by the Kiwi Club for some considerable time and those present thoroughly enjoyed themselves. ‘ The lucky spot waltz was won by Miss Mortensen and partner and the Monte Carlo by Miss Wright and partner. A feature of the dance was the splendid music supplied by Barnes’ Orchestra. Mr Pat Ward officiated as M.C. and carried out his duties in an able manner. A tasty supper was provided by Miss M. Watt who was assisted by a very capable social committee The gathering was excellently managed and reflected the greatest credit upon those responsible. It was one of the most sociable and enjoyable dances ever held in the hall. The singing of “Auld Lang Syne” brought the dance to a close.
