McKAY’S NEW GAIETIES. Hailed by the Press of Wellington. Auckland, Christchurch and Dunedin as one of the best variety shows ever brought from Australia, Stanley McKay’s New Gaieties Co., of international comedians, singers, dancers, acrobats and jugglers is to play a two-nights and a gift matinee season at the Masterton Opera House. Gn r’riday night the sparkling revue, “Life Begins at 8,” is to be staged, and on Saturday at the gift matinee and at night an entirely new production is to be submitted. In addition to the principals, a first-class Australian ballet and May Brookes’s orchestra add to the attractiveness of the show, while the dressing and general staging are of a most elaborate character. Outstanding amongst the specialty artists is Geo. Hurd, juggling genius, successor to the great Cinquivalli. No one should fail to see this remarkable performer whose feats of balance astounded Australian and New Zealand audiences.' The principal laughter makers are Stan Foley and Alec. McKinnon, and others prominent in the large cast are Nellie Kolle, male impersonator; San Remos JBros., hand balancers; Stella Laptond, personality girl; Gerry Keogh, Irish acrobatic dancer; Snowy Towers, mimic of screen stars; and Assam, Pekoe, Souchon and Congo, crazy acrobatic clowns. Seats for Friday and Saturday’s revues may be reserved at W. G. Perry’s. Many children are to receive gifts’ at Saturday’s matinee:
