MASTERTON STOCK SALE

SLIGHT EASING IN VALUES. Although pens of good quality sheep were yarded at today’s Masterton stock sale there was a slight all-round easing in values. Fats alone maintained about par rates. Store wethers, which a couple of months ago were selling at 16s, brought about 4s less today. Prime fat ewes made from 13s to 15s 6d, fat wethers to 21s 6d and light ewes 8s 6d. Two-tooth wethers sold at 16s Id, light fat wethers, 17s 3d to 20s 2d. Two and four-tooth wethers brought up to 14s 3d and store wethers from 12s to 12s 6d.
