CANADIAN AIR LINES

REDUCTION IN PASSENGER RATES. MONTREAL. Passenger rates on the Trans-Canada Air Lines are six cents a mile, following the inauguration of a service on April 1. This amount is less than double the rate for railway travel. Round trip rates will be double the one-way fare less ten per cent. Children under two years of age, when carried in arms, will travel free while children over two and under eleven will go for half fare. One of the features of air travel is that no additional charge will be made for refreshments or meals which may be served aloft. Each passenger will be allowed 401bs of baggage. Indicative of the extent of air travel in Canada it is estimated that Trans-Canada Air Lines planes fly 6,440 miles every day.
